Details
Purchase of land for £235 on the south side of Town Street Swanland bounded on the north in part by Town Street and in other part by the garden of some cottages belonging to the Vendors on the south by the road leading to Anlaby on the East in part by the site of the said cottages on the west by the High Road known as Kemp Road and containing three acres or thereabouts on the plan drawn thereon and thereon coloured round with red
Together with a right of footroad for the Trustees ..... over the foot path coloured blue on the said plan to provide "the inhabitants of Swanland with a recreational ground" upon the trusts hereinafter contained ... (a).... to permit the land to be used "in perpetuity" as a recreational ground for the use of the inhabitants of Swanland and other persons appearing herein ........................................................... (f) "if in the opinion of the trustees it should become desirable to sell the said heraditaments it shall be lawful for them at any time or times to do so ............." The Vendor, at the request and direction of the Purchaser, conveyed to the Trustees the grass field situate on the north side of the Swanland - Anlaby Road Swanland bounded on the north side in part by the School on the south side by the Swanland - Anlaby Road on the west ny the Recreation Ground and containing one acre and fifteen poles or thereabouts shown on the plan thereon and thereon coloured with red
